Hi,

I'm talking Disco1 here.

As the title says HOW DO YOU REPAIR: The rear body section where it meets the rear wheel arch and stop it flapping about?

I need to do this before i fit the inner sill and box section i'm using for rock sliders.

Metal bracket and ali don't go or so i'm told, so how should i fix?

I know someone will have the answer.

Cheers.

Depends how ghetto you want it or how much ur bothered about appearance. Bit of steel cut to shape, welded to arch and riveted to skin JD

OK..using a barrier,

Even if i place rubber washers between the fixing points of say a steel bracket and outer wing there will still be contact of metal and ali. Use steel rivets and the contact will be on the outer wing and useing ali rivets there will be contact on the steel bracket.

I wish i was one of those people that know it all.....lol

I just bolted 'em together, or rivetted, I can't remember .. it's what landrover did and they lasted since 1996 ... ;)
