Removed headlight, indicator, side repeater. Unscrewed 7 screws in bonnet drain, undid 4 bolts behind the door. The wing is loose from the front end but still solid toward the drivers door side. Do I need to remove plastic window trim as well, if so how?

you sure you havent missed a bolt? From memory the wing tucks away somehow underneath somewhere (vague i know)... As long as the fixings are all out just pull harder.

The bumper end cap is supposed to be bolted on under the wing but since that bit has corroded it is no longer attached there. There's a wee bolt round the front that holds the headlight trim as well.

If all the bolt's have been removed you'll need to break the seal at the rear of the wing.

2 bolts at sill level, an a silly bracket there too.
just cos nobdies mentioned em.
and the tops a bit fiddly where it goes under plastic channel under windscreen, might need slackening off.
dont forget the repeater lamp wiring too.

kind of peel. you should be able to see the joint seperating as you pull it. work your way along the edge to avoid damage.
think of removin one o them orrible sticky plasters from a delicate area of skin...

Think I'll just need to get the screws and bolts back in tomorrow since it decided to finally give us a blizzard in the last hour. I don't think working in the snow will do much for my patience. Glad I covered the front end with a big nylon sheet earlier.
