Hot Starting Fix kits

Looking on Ebay there are a number of people selling info or kits to fix the reluctant hot starting of the bmw 2.5d engines.
Are these fixes genuine. Do they work.
Does anybody know whats involved.

I've got some really nice guy's down here who might know, would you mind telling me what the problem is and i'll ask them, (they are ex LR mechanic's).

Nick, no real problems, apart from it seems the 2.5 bmw engine is reluctant to start when hot, needs cranking a bit.
I have seen some so called fix kits for sale on Ebay, and wondered what they are, and do they work.
 
yes they work, but look on these forums first, there is a thread somewhere that has a step by step of what you need to buy and how to do it. parts are only a few pence as it consists of a resistor and some cable.
