I know we’ve spoken in the past regarding this but I don’t know if anything is new to the market?
When spraying bits at home, is there a decent non 2k paint system for bumpers, panels etc?
In past discussion it’s always the non 2k laquer that lets the side down or doesn’t harden nicely…

Any info or advice appreciate, currently gearing up my stock and bits for the next project

Not in Wiltshire anymore - need to update. Thanks for the info though. I doubt I’ll be doing all panels, just the tired ones and hopefully blend where I can

Like the idea of that under hood black. Didn’t even know we could get Eastwood gear in England but frosts sell it!

Have been using Underhood Black for years, it's a great coating specifically designed to replicate the original black coatings found under hoods/bonnets. Here's my galvanised heater box resprayed [after T-wash] with UHB

Absolutely bang on mate. Wasn’t really the original question as was more thinking of panels but I’m hoping to do a resto to standard and that stuff will be perfect. Just thin with normal thinners?

That finish must’ve been so satisfying 😂👌

It's worth every penny. Like most LR's the under bonnet metal was in a very poor condition when I bought the Ninety. I priced up replacing with new and it came to over £2000[!] So I stripped all metalwork bare and took to A&C in Newbury. Craig and his right hand man, Lee, are great guys and £200 later it was further shotblast [keyed] and thick powder coated. This included the front bumper too. Two years in and it all still looks brand new 😎

You must have a very understanding wife.
That's funnier than it sounds. I had a very misunderstanding ex-wiffage of whom I put up with for fourteen years, post which I've become a most content bachelor with a black book of lady's telephone numbers. It's a comfortable life and have been asked for marriage twice since ex-wiffage. Luckily, I escaped both times.

If you do know of any potential hot totty wiffage material pls do forward my LZ pm address....;)

Newbury is close enough for me to do this mate. Thank you.
