Took my P38 off road last Sunday. On Monday I noticed an odd rattle. I presume the two are related.
Going over bumps doesn't make the rattle worse although just the uneven tick over on a cold engine is enough to make the rattle noticeable. At its worse you can feel it through your feet.
I had it MOTd on Friday and it failed on hockey stick bushes. Could this be the cause of the rattling?
Ive been quoted £375 + vat to replace these and also the centre box on the exhaust. Does this sound reasonable?
I have never used this garage before but they are only a 4 minute walk from work so they are very handy.
I am amazed that it only failed on these two items. I was expecting a huge bill.
