Historic Vehicles :-( ???

My dear old mum said she heard on the radio this morning that the govt is planning on doing away with historic vehicle tax exemption. I've done a quick search and can't find anything has anyone else heard anything??

I think what said was they were extending the system of banding road fund licences according to C02 emmissions back to March the 1st 2001.
Although i too cant find anything on the news sites.

I think she must have heard summat about road tax, got confused and imagined it
