For Sale

Anglia / Hilmor Hydraulic Rotory Pipe Bender

Up for sale is my rather beastly Pipe bender. It’s an Anglia Power Bend (also known as a Hilmor Rotory Hydraulic No.3). It’s an absolutely fabulous piece of English heavy-duty machinery!

I bought this a couple of years ago looking to do several projects, but alas, my welding skills just don’t match and I’ve decided to get a cage professionally made. I also want to do a welding course in which the money from this will be going towards! It has however completed a couple of smaller projects with ease and built several very very strong storage units out of old Blue Band (using various scaffold clamps as feet)!

This thing will bend anything you can chuck at it! Though you would need to source suitable dye sets!

It comes with 2 dye sets. A 2” set and a 1 3/8” set. The perfect sizes for cage use! Also great for building roof racks to (Heavy Duty versions :p). The 1 3/8” dye has a crack on the rotary section, but I’ve used it without any problems at all.

The bender is 100% functional and is a very good example of one. I’ve seen a couple go through sales, which look like they suffered many years of abuse. This one hasn’t! It was refurbed several years ago and then got some light use by the previous owner. I then acquired it and it’s generally sat in storage since!

Rams are good, adjusters are good, followers are smooth, there’s no pitting, no rust, no leaks particularly. Movement is smooth and it works just great!

Will happily bend thick and thin wall alike without any creasing or deformation like the bottle jack types do!

This is industrial/professional grade kit! Very rare to boot!

I can deliver a reasonable distance for diesel money or can pallet it up, though it’s very heavy!

After somewhere around £550 for the unit and dye’s.

Back up for sale.

Held this for a month on a promise, but guess someone's word doesn't hold like it used to!
