High SWR :(

a bit overkill maybe but nothing wrong with a bit of quality, i must add i do use a radio a lot of the time not really for 4x4'ing really, i talk to a couple of locals round here, it being quite rural, & have a ham radio license so use other bands & antennas.

it's whats best for you really & budget & use, does dictate what you go for like most things

haha just kiddin iv just orderd a new whip antenna gona do it properly this time earth the gutter mount to my seatbelt mount get a good earth and try again then i can finaly get rid of all the unsighley wires !

Don't mount to the side gutter. It'll get ripped off the first time yu go laning down a treelined greenlane..
