Can somebody help me solve this problem:

When the engine is started either hot or cold it revs to 2000RPM and then drops back to 1000RPM.I have tried the base idle and the screw is at max but revs are still high.I have replaced the stopper motor.

Help would be appreciated.

have you checked the voltage outputs on the AFM?

start with the basics set the base idle adjusting the screw will not work it is for the mechanical idle which has to be set with a hot engine
