High performance snorkel

I have BAS remap with the bigger turbo on my 2013 D110 (2.2 puma). Fitted a 3" diameter Mantec snorkel for essential protection from soft desert sand. The snorkel is likely hampering turbo/remap performance (particularly in Dubai's extremely hot weather) but I won't take risk of removing it again as it costed me a turbo the last time I did it. So I'm looking for a snorkel or raised air intake that's wide enough to maximize turbo performance. I'm open to have one fabricated provided it's a proven design that fits my truck. Guidance appreciated...
