High level stop lamp wiring - Defender 110 300TDi 1998

Hi all, can anyone tell me or show me a pic of how the wiring enters the High level stop lamp housing on the rear door. I have the glass in the door with the 2 mounting studs, the wiring coming out of a grommeted hole in the door frame and have just purchased part number XFG100330 which i believe is the correct stop lamp housing. Its not obvious how the wiring routes into the stop lamp housing, can you help please.

Not sure if it's correct (may have been bodged by previous owner), but mine just ducks through the two long slots, nothing clever about it:
