Just a thought but you are coming down to Strata Florida aren't you? From where I live I would be driving 95 miles to meet at Oswestry. Which considering the route from what I gather is coming in my direction, before going north again, seems a waste of fuel. Could someone be so kind as to send me a route itinery so that I can work out if there is somewhere that's not 100 miles away that I can meet up with the rest of you. I get the impression I am the only one coming up from this area and the rest of you are coming over from England?

Got the truck ready to go, fitted everything myself, actually surprised as I wouldn't normally have done it all, would have been too worried on my other cars but these land rovers are pretty primitive engineering!

Realised why my steering is off centre, the steering bar is fooked! Must be bent about 3 inches out of true! Couldn't even get my diff guard on! I'm either going to reinforce with some scarf tube or order a HD item!
 
Going to sort cb radio tomorrow, what set ups you guys got? Obviously there's the radio itself, Ariel & hand held mic, but what about a speaker?

I have an external speaker because over 40 mph I can't hear a thing:D. I have no carpets,mats or sound deadening at all so I need one.
