just thought i'd pop in to say hi. i'm JJ and i'm from portsmouth where i work as a school caretaker.

i'm new to the landrover world and at the moment, i'm after a landrover ambulance. so if you know anyone who is selling one with a long MOT and in good condition, please let me know.

thanks for the welcome everyone. i've got a very thick skin, i've had to, i've been a scooterist 29 years and if you've got the jacobs to ride a lambretta from pompey to morecombe/whitley bay etc and back then you have to (and the knowledge to strip the engine down and rebuild it on the side of the road).

and as for the donkey jacket, i've got one of them lol but without the twine. i'm usually walking around in combat trousers and doctor marten boots. the kids never mess with me that way.

i'm looking forward to getting a landy and meeting up with some of you.

when did they start putting injuns into lambrettas? dunt they just have an italian cockroach on a very small tredmill thing?

Fook I've done that gp200 noo clutch, no clutch compressor 11 at night on the way to Dunbar in the late 80's

Ah used tae have two or three of them things in me yoof! Ah found the best way to hack the leg shields off of them was a brick and a screwdriver (didn't have fancy tools like angle grinders or jigsaws then!) and a good coatin' of matt black paint soon sorted them out along with a bike petrol tank slung between me legs and the original tank taken out and seat lowered a bit

they only put the cockroaches in after the elastic bands broke. and as for bustersbus discription, he's a lad after me own heart. cut it down and matt black it, my idea of a decent sunday afternoon.

Ah had a Lambretta fer about a fortnight. Liked the moosic & clobber wot went wiv it, but fort the bikes were crap..........so became a scuzzy biker. Gorra say tho', got on well wiv the scooterists. They were the only uvva eejuts dumb enough ter ride undreds of fekin miles in the pouring rain jest ter git ****ed, have a fight & ride home again.
