Hi Everyone. Just joined tonight. I have one of the infamouse P38 Range Rovers. I've always liked RR's and Landrovers. Got this one realitively cheap. It had been sitting in a field for a number of years, then another couple in a works yard. It wasn't expensive to repair with the help of a Landrover Master Tech friend. Yes I've endured twelve months of niggling problrems but I still love it. Even though it can be a headache at times. Hopefully I can tap into the wealth of knowledge that's on here to help me with issues as they arise. Thanks. Rod.

Now I'm worried :D

I used to work on a farm back in 1994 when they first came out, the farm owner Bill always had a Range Rover and had just upgraded the farm vehicles all in one go, two brand new 300Tdi commercials and a Range Rover P38 for himself, not a 2.5 DSE, he went for the 4.6 HSE and it was the first one I ever saw and was instantly very fond of it, that burble, that roar as he booted it out the gate with his lead feet was just awesome to a 16yr old.

Ever since then I've always had a soft spot but never an itch that needed scratched.

Had a D3 as a manager back in 07/08 and swore that one day I was going to get one and gut it of every scrap of electronics and give it a mans engine and a retro electric down grade.
