Hi,
Thought I'd take the plung and introduce myself. My name is Becky and I just bought my first Land Rover last week...1997 discovery 300tdi
I've been driving my volvo 850 around which I loved but then it died...and a friend lent me his land rover whilst the volvo was being mended. Long story short, I'd always wanted a landy and funnily enough i didn't want to part with it....and as luck would have it he was selling. So the volvo is for sale and I'm hooked!
It needs a little tlc but having done my homework it doesn't seem that bad, i've got myself some silicone for the sun roofs and I'm on the look out for an mfu which from previous threads I've worked out is the AMR5360
I'm no mechanic but I am going to try and familiarise myself with that thing under the bonnet (the engine?) and do what I can myself so you may see a fair few silly questions in the near future popping up.
Any tips greatfully received
