I have joined as my son has a Disco... and loves it! I am looking for a 4x4, with 5-7 seats (grandlot) but that is not like a tortoise! I like old vehicles (they usually have just the 2 seats and from '60 to '91. I like the 'how to' area and will be forwarding link to son&heir. So, what best for me? Mike (said son) says 2.5lt petrol. Can you tell me how they age? I am looking to only spend about £3-4k so older models. What do I look out for? I hope they are as much fun in the winter as Mike says! (Know they are heavy on fuel!):blabla:

I had to do a clutch fork replacement on my Td1 300 diesel. As I also had a small oil leak from the rear crankshaft oil I just replaced it with a Britpart seal.

Took all the necessary precautions during fitting and unfortunately, I have a an oil leak much worse than before.

Any idea" as to what I should do? Is Birtpart for such oil seals not good quality?
