Hi there new owner from leicester

Hey guys, just went completely bonkers (so i have been told) and bought a land rover series II A military ambulance off ebay last night.

Urrgghh what have i done haha!

Im buying it to partially convert to a basic campervan (i have no issues with roughing it slightly) and will use it to carry my race bikes to enduro meetings etc, with a greatly reduced risk of getting stuck in the mud whilst im there!

We (me and the mrs) also want to go travelling in a couple of years and quite fancy driving back to her home country (South africa) so thinking.. why not!

Anyways im in ashby de la zouch in leicestershire, so you might see it driving about soon, as soon as i can register it (which ill start a fresh thread about)

my present house doesnt have a drive, so im going to ask my parents if i can put my new land rover on their drive for a few weeks....

needless to say i wont be showing a picture of it too them beforehand

your use of the word "new" is likely to cause some confusion for them

but its not really a lie is it... its "new" to me

Got your work cut out now looks good though always wanted one but the wife not a big fan.Made me get rid of me 109 when i bought me disco for offroading still got me lightweight . Good luck with the parents
