Hi there just registered, I have a TD5 with lots of problems hope someone can help

My Disco TD5 2000 Auto has developed a rattle which increases with speed and stops and restarts with the Chang of gears. You would be forgiven if thinking it was the front pipe or baffles .
So far I have removed heat shields, changed the front pipe rebuild the gear box and transferr box and still it rattles. It is a metallic sound and so far no one can offer any solution. Anyone out there experienced this before

It's not something in the prop shaft department is it? Is it a fairly light, tinny sound, just audible over the sound of the engine? I've got a rattle like that. Still don't know what it is though.
