hi there everyone i have just bought a 1995 rrc thats been converted to a 300tdi and its in need of some love the rear crossmember is holed and i want to change it now ive done this a few times before but all my old range rovers where a lot older and had ally boot floors but reading about the later models this isnt so. so what i need to know is how is the steel floor held in? can i replace it with an ally floor? do the rear wings come off in the same way the early ones do? and does it differ in any other way to replacing one on say a 1984 model? also it is holed on the floor just inside of the arches so if i replace the floor i was going to cut the old one up and use the ribbed metal to replace the dodgy floor is this possible? also the front carpets are soaked and the glovebox is moldy (could be spilled drink tho) but the carpets dont seem wet up near the baulk head so it sort of rules out the windscreen but it had a new one 2 months ago any ideas were it could be getting in? one last thing then i will stop honest lol the car orignaly had a/c but the doner car didnt so they left the pump off and sealed the pipes up if i get an a/c pump that fits the tdi will the pipes fit that pump or will i need pipes to? thanks in advance for any help everyone:D
