Hi, New TD4 Owner

Hi All.

I am the proud new owner of a Freelander TD4, picked her up a couple of nights ago. I had a Freelander 1.8 petrol a couple of years ago and had a few (hundred) problems with it, mainly the head gasket going on both the original and replacement engine!

I stayed away from Land Rover for a while but got pulled back in by their charm and sold my 3.0L V6 Vectra last week and found this gem on autotrader. 1 previous owner, full Land Rover service history and green! I had to own it.

I hope to waste a lot of my life trawling through all the interesting and helpful threads on here and look forward to seeing all of your freelanders/land rovers.

One question: What does 'TD4 S H/B' actually stand for? I'm guessing Sport Hardback??

Welcome, nice looking 3 door. You shouldn't have head problems with that one!
