Hi to all,
I have purchased my 1st land rover after many years of sneering and moaning about those 4 x 4 drivers who think they own the road and I have very quickly become one of them.
I love my freelander TD4 even though the drivers seat has no height adjustment... and the fact that i bang my head every time i get in. this does not stop me grinning like an idiot ever time i get behind the wheel and point the bonnet at its next target.

I have also discovered that owning a landrover means a lot of time trawling through forums such as this trying to sort out those annoying faults that seem inherent with landys.

I have questions to ask but thought it polite to introduce myself first I look forward to sharing my new but eventful freelander ownership.

Welcome aboard. You'll find this site a great source of information although you may need a hard hat in the Anything Goes section.

You'll also find that it is in fact a Gaylander that you're driving.:D

There're not really Gay!!!! Land Rover just designed them for women because they knew they wouldn't be able to handle anything bigger.

well fair play to you eddiethedog. usually peeps turn up with a question, straight in with no intro.

I'd be getting yourself over to the freelander section and popping up your td4 questions, any agro at all, a) tell them you've already introduced yourself, and b) optimus prime said it was ok !

seriously though, had a td4 auto myself, miss it every day, so know how you feel. Not a million miles from you either as it goes, and my office is even closer ! There's a fair bit of info on this forum so put on a thick skin, brave the abuse and enjoy the knowledge. There's not a single problem that I had with my td4 that couldn't be fixed with the knowledge I found on here.

welcome Eddie :D

most people on here have "issues" and anyone that doesn't will have if they stray into the anything goes section / sectioned :clock:
