Hi, Thought I should join forum as I frequently search site for useful information.
Have had a 1999 P38 2.5 DSE which I have owned for the past five years or so. currently has 89,000 miles on clock and hopefully capable of many more.
The car has developed an annoying brushing sound from engine which I believe is slackened timing chain rubbing against chain guides, have purchased new chains and thought I might look for previous experience of this within forum (engine is BMW) prior to jumping in!
