Good morning, I have used your wonderful site many times over the years, as being a LR owner is not always plain sailing. So i want to post a response concerning the dreaded PDF full warning ! The dreaded warning appeared last week on my 2011 Freelander 2 (85K mls). Full panic mode, contacted a local exhaust place in Stockport who recommended a PDF cleaning Co in Sale, which i contacted and drove there slowly in full Limp mode, also warning 'reduced engine performance' the Co in Sale were excellent carried out a full diagnostics, and confirmed it wasn't a DPF problem, but they thought a Turbo problem, and they recommended a LR specialist in Stockport, they reset the alarms, which re-appeared after a couple of miles, I thought i better visit Stockport, this outfit again very good, another diagnostic test and the mechanic identified a split hose, turbo inter cooler hose to be precise, not uncommon. So they were dead busy but if i left my car they would try to fit in during the afternoon. So an afternoon in Stockport, air raid shelter/ wetherspoons (steak day) 5pm car ready, massive relief, very impressed with both garages I can name names if appropriate on this site. The charge incl parts £160. very pleased
