Hi guys!

Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I'm just in the process of puchasing a 2004 discovery 2 (see post on general discussion section). Many years ago I used to own and trial a Samurai ( to be honest it was a brilliant little 4x4, very capable) and had the occasional use of a Defender County. I'm looking forward to getting back into the 4x4 world and hopefully enjoying the Land Rover experience. I 'm planning on doing my own servicing and a few modifications etc. My wife will be the main user as she needs a 4x4 to tow her horse box, but to be honest, when I catch the bug again I'm sure I'll be wrestling it away from her!! Guys, Update one week after picking up the Disco. I think this has got to be the best used car deal I've ever done. All cleaned up, serviced, totally awesome to drive, really catching the bug. Metallic blue, 46,000 miles, 11 months mot, 3 owners 2004, £6ooo. I guess I should go playing now and get muddy! Thanks for your help with the service advice..
