very funny oscar!lol

Yep timc your right! we still have steam trains over here! oh and horse trams whos only emisions end up on the road!

thats just what i want a defender i can dive and slowly make my own, rebuild in the future!

oh another question! now dont laugh! if you by a pick-up can you just but a hard top to put on it?

Ive just e-mailed them to see if they will budge on price and maybe part-x my fiat 500, and no im not a hair dresser! actually if you saw my head you would see why!

Just seen your dealer 200 Tdi one

Looks fairly tidy, an honest description but top priced by quite a bit IMHO - I'd be thinking nearer £4k tops with needing to do some work on the bulkhead

If it were a 1994 or newer 300 Tdi and in great conditon that sort of money might not be overly ambitious

thanks ladsQ se i need help and lots of it! so i'll keep looking for a tidy landy that looks right!

depends on what and why you are after one.

if it's to do pay and play / greenlaning, or using it for humping crap about then i'd only spend a max of 2.5k -3k on one and fix any issues it has.

i might be tight :D

Hey trax ! yep thats the problem i have. Do i want a one for having some fun in and fix issues or one a bit better i can use everyday and slowly improve. Dont seem to be many around that aint been messed with. I'll keep looking! That garage offered me £5300 for my 500, robbing b*stards. cheers

about 300s being more reliable, in 9 months I've had 3 breakdowns
belt tensioner fell apart
headlights failed
wheelbearing welded to hub

I now carry some wire
a spare tensioner pulley with bearing fitted
a wheel bearing kit and big socket

Thank trax! thats why i was wondering if any kind member lived near Aylesbury? maybe someone could have a look for me, i'll pay them!
