Hi guys.. Just joined

I'm looking to buy a freelander and seen a nice one, td4 2003 model but not sure if it has BMW engine or rover engine.

That would be a bmw engine mate

Had a quick shufty at the MOT history a few of the advisories jumped off the page at me

Not a good one then, the age of the car will mean corrosion. May be I need to be looking newer

There'll be a degree of corrosion on any car that age. It's wether it's terminal rot or something that can be treated and held back for long enough for you to get the use you want out of the car.

Thats a good shout from @Iancorky though, use the mot history check to give you a heads up on things before you view

I'd be more concerned with engine management light and no coolant in the tank

thats what I was getting at, the corrosion is open to interpretation but no coolant

That MOT history saved mine and a few mates bacon a few times when looking at cars
