My name is Gary and I recently bought a 2012 Freelander 2 SI on our east coast and drove it 4000k across Australia. Terrific experience. Still to take it off road when I know what I'm doing. This is my first Landy and I love it. Happy to hear any good advice/ tips. A friend has one and recently changed all interior lights with LED'S. Easily done. Huge improvement. I do hope you will say hello.

I shall be happy to leave your balls intact. If you guys are giving us a hard time its 1/50th of what Australian fans are giving these idiots. A good cleanout is required, top to bottom. I have never liked sledging and we are not all rednecks. Spoiled, cossetted arrogant rich guys. I am ashamed of them. Gaz PS thank you for replying. I have much to learn about Landys so any experience/advice welcome

Sorry about the jibe, it's not often we get the chance over here, it's usually the other way. The cricket fiasco makes a change for us to read about something other than brexit and Russian spy's.

We just kicked out a few too today and surprise surprise Trump kicked out 60 the other day. We Australians are absolutely ashamed of our cricketers. We must be a laughing stock overseas. The ICC initial penalty for Bancroft and Smith was considered a joke by most of us so I believe public opinion will force Cricket Australia to come down much harder. Anyway Col what a beautiful country you have to drive around in a Landrover. I went to Coventry about 20 years ago, saw Jaguar factory. Never thought I'd own a Landy. Have you found this site a) friendly b) helpful?

I think the cricket thing is a storm in a teacup for most non-Australians, we have a few over here that are amazed by the news but they all believe in Santa and the tooth fairey. It is a nice country but Coventry doesn't do it justice at all. This is a great site for landy owners and ****-takers. Everyone is friendly although the banter sometimes gets a bit harsh, you learn to live with it and roll with the punches. It certainly is very helpful, someone might call you a nob head one day and be giving you great advice the next. We have a few ozzies on here so you'll be in good company.
