Hi from Nottinghamshire!!

Hi, I'm Dave and as the title says, I'm from Notts.

Had the absolute pleasure of buying my 1st ever Landrover last week, a 2003 Freelander Kalahari (I'm pretty convinced it wasn't called the '1' when it was released!). Don't worry, it came will full service history, an upgraded head and all the other scary things already sorted.

It came with the obligatory removable hard-top, but I'm wondering if I managed to buy a soft-top from eBay or similar, is it just a case of fitting it? (That bit should probably be elsewhere, in which case can I ask the mods to point it in the right direction please!)

Anyway, I LOVE my new drive. I dont know what kept me from owning one before. It could well be completely falling apart at the seams but, the bottom line is, its a Landy - and none of my mates have one!!

Going for some major repairs and maintance on the 24th.. New Head gasket, skimmed, water pump, thermo, expansion tank and other goodies...so it will have around 80% reconditoned engine again ..

Lovimg the light guards and spots ..
was going to get the 3 door but we have kids and the wife spoke
no way...Im lucku0y to even get a landy full stop
she didnt want one at all
was suprised with the insurance and tax cheaper thsn the zafria was...
next will be a 90 or 110 I think lol...

I have a four-door too, and actually really like the lines of the 4-door. It's a handsome little truck. Welcome, and enjoy it!

The temptation was there before handing over the money, but now that I have, the cost of getting it shiny again outweighs the desire to get it dirty lol 😂
