Hi from North Norfolk

Hello there, I've been looking around this forum for a while now, and I thought I'd finally introduce myself.

I've been interested in Land Rovers for years since my grandad owned a series 1, and my dad owned a series 3.

Earlier this week I bought myself a SWB petrol 1961 series 2/2A (cant figure out which it is.)

Its been severelly played with, the dash, side wings, front wings, lights, grill, door bottoms and door tops replaced with series 3 parts. So i'm in the process of begging, borrowing or stealing most of the original parts as I can before I can actually drive it in october. If any of you have any of the original parts you'd be willing to part with, i'd be more than happy to buy them off you or swap them for the series 3 part.

I'll get some piccies on soon. At the moment im in the process of removing the hardtop, hoping to find someone willing local to swap a truck cab for it.

Then im tasked with replacing the front wings and getting a good set of original headlamps and the grill.

I've got a feeling it will be 100 years old by the time its complete.

Anyone want a hardtop?
