Hi Guys.
my first posting on here, but as usual - I joined up because I have a specific problem.
A problem caused by my nephews who had a set of spanners.... well... let's call them the equivalent of terrorists!
Anyway..
The long and short of it..
My Dad (ill with the big "c") has given me his 2003 (53) TD4 FreeLander (specialist vehicle -????)
My nephews replaced the engine with good BMW unit (as per the original) but didn't quite finish the job...
actually.... they left loads requiring finishing.
I'm a mechanic of old (previous VW Audi Master Technicial from Pre 2000)
I still have my spanners - I'm Bosch Auto Electrical trained, but been working in IT since 1998.
So.... I have loads of questions, and hopefully someone can help... especially with getting the engine started without linking out the starter!!
