Hi from Manchester

Hi all,

I joined this site quite a few years back but didnt have a great deal of time to spend on the laptop as i was super busy. Anyway, i have just bought a M Reg 300tdi Discovery and will hopefully be able get some help and guidance from you lovely lot on anything i intend to do to it.
It has three holes underneath that i know of but until i get underneath it tomorrow i hope it stays at three! I am a welder by trade so not phased by the rot but hopefully when i have identified where they are on the car (Bought it without seeing it in person) someone can tell me if i can buy a replacement panel or if i have to make one

I’m expecting the hikes to be at least twice the size once I’ve taken the crappy steel back to solid steel too so fingers crossed it stays at three!!!
The front leather seats also need the bolsters re-upholstering so will be looking for a good place near me to drop them off with. The previous owner has fitted some other cloth seats so I can move the thing around until the leather ones are finished so may have a set of front seats to sell in a few weeks
