OH deffo a Rangey with a shortened 109 body fitted.
Paul the 109 refers to the 109" wheelbase but the Rangey has a 100" wheelbase so the body has been shortened to make it fit.
If it was a 1967 series landrover it would have leaf sprung suspension not coils. also the front end of that motor is off a defender not a series laandrover. Basically someone has put the reg number off a 109 onto a rangerover. legally it isn't tax exempt. and could easily be a stolen motor. if you haven't paid for it yet I'd pull out of the deal on the grounds it's not as described. if the seller get shirty tell him you want to speak to DVLA & VOSA before parting with your money. Watch him back pedal.
