Hi All,

I own a 2001 Freelander 1 TD4 ES which I bought to tow my 1996 Eriba Puck
Had major problems at the start with starting it when warm and losing power when idling but now seems to be sorted thanks to my very nice diesel mechanic, several weeks in the garage and a large wad of cash.

Only issue since was a new micro-switch for the brake lights whilst on the Isle of Wight

I use to drive a Freelander, can't say that I loved it though... it was the others halfs car and when he changed it was handed down to me... I am always banging my head when I get in it and the front strut took a bit of getting use to as it seems to have a big blind spot... having driven a Disco before which is all airy and loads of head room it was a bit of a shock to the system... whats an "Eriba Puck?"
The Freelander certainly came into its own in the snow last year though... the traction control was a life saver on a particularly icey hill...

Have you suffered any starting issues? mine started playing up and is curently awaiting collection by the HP company as its not cost effective to pay for it and do the potentially expensive ignition repairs... plus I have a new toy (LR 90) to play with...

cheers Alex

Hi,

Eriba Puck is a two berth caravan Eastbourne 4 May 09 010.jpg

Oh I see... I have been searching for a small caravan... the other half thinks me a little mad but I wanted a studio in the garden to have a child free spae to call my own and the log cabins and sheds seem boring and a little "permanent" I really like the idea of a caravan for a studio though... a little less dark and dingy and more warm and inviting... plus if we ever move I will always have my studio! lol

I haven't seen one with a pop up roof before... looks fab though!

I have to say I am very taken with my little Eriba Puck, suits me and the wife when we are travelling to areas for the weekend, recently enjoyed a very nice stay at Adgestone on the Isle of Wight
