Hi from Cyprus

Hi Everyone,

Being a polite Girl i thought it best to say Hi.

I live in Cyprus and drive a 300Tdi. Are there many Girlies on this site?.

Anyway a bit about myself, Been here 4 years and own a car lot
Import/Sales, Doing OK at the moment. Any of you Guy's & Gal's been over
here yet.

I'm not a landy owner yet, still looking into buying one though. I have been to Cyprus once and went on one of those 4x4 Safari's for a day. (Can't remember the name of the company, but they had loads of white Defenders) I must say, you have perfect weather and terrain for plenty of off-road fun!

RichM, you must have gone to the Akamas on your Safari, They only go the tame route's. Loads of tracks over here and the Cyps are crazy.

Hello and welcome. what are landy prices like at the mo in cyprus?

Ive been to paphos.It was quite nice but no decent beaches.Well wicked water park near there tho, out all day in the sun didnt feel too clever in the evening.First properly couply holiday me and the missus had.Never again!Hello by the way welcome to the site!

All cars over here are exspensive especially European cars, I would value a 95 Tdi300 at around £6000,Cy. ( €10,251.) The reason for the inflted prices are the Import duties and other Taxes.

just so happens that were moving to cyprus next year, and ill be taking my freelander with me, dont know where about on the island yet, but its looking like the new famagusta part of the island, was across in protarus in october, what a place, it was the business, i didnt want to go home, where about are you?

I'me in Paphos which is quite a way from where you are thinking of.
Bit sleepy here at the moment but am coming back on the 6th of Feb for a Holiday. (Yippee)

Think i'll need my thermals though

dont think ive ever heard anyone being excited by the thought of coming back here, but never mind, and if thats u in that pic then u will need to pack something a bit warmer for our climate

i was pathos in 94 on honeymooon (now ex wife thank god) ex motherinlaw owns a 2 bed flat on the tomb of the kings road ,bout 10 min walk from the bars etc and very close to motorbike hire shop ...was very nice there ,i hired a 750 honda to get about as the sandy area's were about a 15 min ride on the bike..
