Hello everyone.
I'm new here as we've just bought a Freelander TD4 ES (which came with a new BMW engine - one that had done 55k when put in). I am not new to landie ownership though as I've had a SIIa for about 13 years. I only drove it about once before dismantling it as my Dad and I set about a project build. School, work, moving away from home have meant that it's now in about 3 different locations spread around Sussex.
one day....
anyway, here is the new motor. Bought to replace our 3 door FixItAgainTomorrow as we set off growing our family with a new addition due this year.
couple of quick questions though:
1: How does this prop set-up look underneath? Seems pretty tidy to me, but not sure what it's supposed to look like.
2: Clutch pedal seems to have a bit of travel in it and sits about 2-3 inches further forward than the brake pedal. is this usual, and does this greasy mess look about right?
Thanks guys
