hello everyone i`ve just registered after searching for landy disco info has i`m looking to buy hopefully a loved/cared for one hopefully at the end of the month..

Im looking to buy a proper off roader after digging myself out 3 times due to snow but has stacys now got horses i need something to access the huge field they`re in plus its going to get boggy when it melts

also has stacys learning to drive she can practice in the field .

been driving normal cars mostly jap or german for a while but had a a t-reg 1800 3dr freelander a while ago no head gasket problems either.

Has i`ve never dealt with a discos before what do i need to look for are there any niggles, issues, common faults etc.

in respect to reliability cause at the moment my funds (sodding divorce hehe) i`m looking for a maintained/loved 300tdi engined disco what are these like and has quite afew i`ve seen on the net are over 100k + what kind of mileages are these capable of.

i`m kind of a tinkerer when it comes to my cars has they`ve been older ones and serviced them myself so getting my hands dirty isn`t a problem unless its really extremely difficult then i`ve got 2 top mates who work at my local garage who both have disco tdi`s.
