Hi everyone, I've been popping on and off the forum for a while but couldn't login with my previous account. Need a little help.

Not exactly sure what you are asking?

A six cylinder is quite a rare vehicle now, it would be unwise to change engines.
You can't advertise in For Sale section, as you do not have 50 constructive posts on the forum.
It should be fairly easy to sell your vehicle in AutoTrader, or on the various internet selling sites, or in a Landrover magazine.

Hi, sorry for the slow response. It was a 6 pot. A previous owner took it out for some reason or another. I had a 2.25 diesel I was gonna put in my previous series 3 petrol.
So basically I'm selling the 1975 series 3 and am asking if anyone wants it. Like you said I can't advertise yet so have to use this thread

Well that escalated quickly. Just asking if anyone is interested. Why do you feel I didn't understand? Or why do you feel offended by my reply?
I have it online and if I put the word out here I could find someone that doesn't like using online auctions

Ebay or Gumtree Luke.
People who come here just sell are quickly Dispatched.
If you look at some usernames, you'll see LZ Despatch Agent, they are strategically positioned round the country for posts such as yours

Because you aren't supposed to advertise on the forum unless you have 50 constructive posts.
It is the rules of the forum.

I feel so welcome here on this forum. Always found people so helpful in the past. I've learnt a lot from what people have posted here, had good replies to my questions that helped me, then someone ones to dispatch my post coz I want to also sell my land rover here (along side eBay and gumtree and local ads in my area). 50 posts before I can advertise for sale doesn't help when this forum won't let me login with my old account

People on the forum are happy to help, but not for you to advertise yer motor for free.
If you can't log in, it suggests to me you have forgotten your username or password.

If you still know your old username, PM one of the Mods and ask them to check @blue beasty can help.
But he's out for the day at some cake eating thing

I will contact them. However, I have my old username and password but can't log in. So I did "forgot password" and changed password, still can't login. So here I am being knocked about by you lot for trying to just sell my landy. You guys need to relax
