hi- considering a series 3 rebuild- all help thanked

hi, im currently considering rebuilding a series 3 land rover but have no previous knowledge or experience in any form of mechanics. just wandering if it would be a good car to start on. i do have interest and thanks to the old owner of my house being a serious green laner we have a fully functional pit and several winches. i also know several people who have previously done up series 3 and would help me. just asking if this sounds like a good idea. thanks

i did a series two, it is reletivly simple, you just need a decent set of general tools, and a lot of WD-40 and what i lacked with mine, Patience. But if you are having any problems just start up a series 3 rebuild thread and im sure everyone on here will jump at the chance to help! i always will

Hello and welcome..if you do go ahead with this project then I've still got some bits left over from my abandoned series 3 project if you need them!
