Hi All, Could somebody help me by measuring a couple of dimensions on Hi Cap Tubs please.

The dimensions I am looking for are
the measurement from the exterior front of the tub back to the centre of the wheel hub for
1) single cab 110
2) single cab 130
3) Double cab 110
4) Double cab 130 ad finally
5) Exterior width of the tub please - they are for a project I am planning.

Thanks in advance

Remind me Friday if no one gets back I can get some of these measurements.

the difference between a 110 & 127 double cab is about 10”(127) Shorter. Widths are all the same.dont forget these over hang the rear cross member.

go on what project you building??

Hi Thanks for the reply Looking into the possibility of mounting a hi cap tub on a cut Bodied Range Rover P38 or Disco 2 - the front measurement is so that I can look at how much - if at all I will need to extend the chassis in front of the rear axle to accommodate the tub - I don't want to fabricate a rear flat bed type body because I want it to be and look totally L.R.

You can shrink a hi cap body length down ;)

they are well made but you can remove the front section then cut the sides to suite & rivit it back together. That sorts the length out. Just need to get it over the rear wheels
You do know these are wider than a standard landrover body? So may stick out.
What wheel bass is a D2?

Hi Phil, thanks again for replying - a D1 is the same width with a D2 and P38 being roughly 100mm wider - so at the mo I am leaning strongly towards a D1 maybe utilising a long ranger cab back and roof. shortening the front of the tub to fit would be preferable to lengthening the chassis - mainly due to prop length and balance issues, but either way isn't an issue.

Phil,

something like this.
