Hi every one newbie to the Landrover world but have now got myself a cracking series 3 109.
Seems pretty well sorted, obviously there's bits and pieces to do and things that can be better but all in all I'm really pleased with the way she's driving at the moment.
Going to need a gearbox & over drive rebuild as both a bit noisy, well the O/D whines louder than the dog but if I slow down again it's fine
Quick question of I may, is there an issue with using 4 wheel drive low range without locking the front hubs? I'm going to be using her to manoeuvre a big heavy trailer around quite a bit & low range will take a lot of the work away from the clutch but just wondered?
Any thoughts?
