Hi all new here

Hi all, im hoping someone can point me in the right direction before i end up pulling my hair out!!
I have a 2006 range rover sport se.
The subframe bushings are gone and the man that usually looks after all my servicing and bits that need to be done is telling me its a massif job to do those bushings and that the whole cab has to taken off and he wont take it on, said a jeep of that year would run into all sorts of problems
So im now listening to this rattle from the back and its driving me insane. I need someone i can trust 100% to do this job, my jeep is like a child to me.

I can't help, but i very much doubt anyone else can until you provide a general indication of where you and your RRS are located.
Providing a County, should aid those looking to offer assistance.

Welcome. Calling your HOS a Jeep does not go down well on Landy Zone.. No doubt someone who knows your model of vehicle will be along shortly.

Agreed wreck, heap, one-way ticket for the knackers yard, four wheeler in rust formation. Evoque bumper car but never Jeep

"Jeep". Yeah, hate that!
Jeep = Just Enough Essential Parts.
Range Rover = not sure if there's an acronym for that, perhaps we could have a go but to my mind it has waaaay too many non-essential parts. I think my favourite so far (that I've found) is my electric viscous fan, pretty sure all other manufacturers use one or the other; can't wait for that to go wrong.

Not much help forthcoming. You have to face the fact that a Range Rover is not a car it's a hobby. The modern ones are real rust buckets, it's probably time to trade it in for a Jeep

I don't even know where Co. Cavan is, although I think it is on the Island of Ireland.

do u know where on the RRS the bushings need replacing , ie the wishbone bushes or the dynamic anti roll bar system plse

alas if ur not able to do the work yourself it can range from £800 to several £1,000’s, hopefully they told u exactly which one needs replacing

hope that helps and indeed the J word is one that should never be mentioned , lol

It doesn't have subframes, it's got a ladder chassis, so presumably it's a suspension wishbone bush that's failed?

If your repair man knows his vehicles, then he should know how to remove the suspension wishbones without removing the body completely, as very few wishbones require body removal. If he doesn't, find someone who does.

Oh and it's a Range Rover, not a Jeep.
