Hello everybody!
My name is Vladimir and I'm form Sofia, Bulgaria.
I've bought my Disco II, Td5 automatic in spring, but didn't do anything with it until now. And I have some serious plans for the Disco.
I started with the suspension - couple of months ago I fitted a 2" lift by TerraFirma (long shocks and absorbers) medium load.

I also purchased the extended (+4 inches) Goodridge Braided Brake Lines for Discovery 2.
Now I am waiting for AlliSport Land Rover Discovery TD5 EGR Removal Kit.
Unfortunately my Torque Convertor is living it's last days, so I will have to replace it. After many hours of research I chose to fit the Ashcroft Transmissions - Td5 Heavy Duty Torque Converter
I'm also thinking of replacing wheels and tyres. Now I'm with 255/55R18 TOYO winter tires, which are excellent on snow and ice, but for the warm months I want to go for 16" wheels and 245/75R16 Cooper Discoverer STT tyres. The thing is that the original offset is ET 57 and with the 2" lift I want to go somewhere between ET 15 to 20. The alloys I chose has ET 15 and I just hope that the tyres will fit without cutting fenders. If anyone have experience with experimenting with offset and fitting larger tyres please do share.
Later on I will start a new thread with the progress of my project ...

Let the force be with you!

V.
