Hi All, not a landie owner yet but actively looking for a disco 2. My 6 year old likes the idea of sitting in the boot... has anyone had any dealings with J A 4X4 of Cheshire ? They always seem to have low mileage Disco 2's

Hi, I've just bought a V8 D2 and shopped around quite a bit - thought I'd got a good un but even though I got some help from a mechanically minded mate; checked rust points, dash lights, brakes, etc. 6 weeks on I'm £1k+ worse off Head gasket leak, fan, speed sensor, water leaks.

Given my experience I'd also get Head gasket test done as its expensive to sort! Still love the car would still buy a Disco - but would probably buy it differently if I was doing it again...and a dealer warranty sounds good! Good luck
