Hey there peeps! Thought i best post some piccys of my 2 landys
My first landy i bought when i was 16 and only just finished 3 years ago (i had built and dismantled it a few times before i was happy with it!)
Shes a 1969 series 2a one of the very last with a few parts from a 1973 series 3 i also had at the time hence the hybrid look so please dont go calling the ringer police! The engine is an efi rangie engine converted back to carbs on a edlebrock 4 barrel carb mallory electronic dizzy and a big ol piper cam. its running on 3.52 diffs and a high ratio transfer box and is possibly the fastest landy youre likely to see just ask Beast o bodmin
My 2nd landy i bought to offroad because i didnt wanna mess up my series. Its a factory 200tdi manual i bought it as an mot failure and spent a fair bit of time making my own sills from box section, replacing the rear crossmember and patching the boot floor. Mods wise its been lifted 50mm or 2 inches for you old farts with castor corrected arms front and back. I also lifted the body by 2 and a half inches. Then fitted a full polybush kit, wide angled front prop, flexi arches and my most recent and definate favourite mod is the 33" maxxis tyres which make it look pretty evil! The front bumper was made by myself and the steering guard was modified to suit the body lift.
Anyways thats enough for now and im sure BoB will be round here any second to **** on my bonfire!
