Hey guys new on here need help tho plz

hey guys ive got a problem
I have a Freelander 1.8 chocolate engine
On idle there is a knocking noise coming from the engine block, you can not hear it when driving just when im stood still like in traffic or letting it warm up.
I am starting to think it is the bottom end but the car has done 76,000 miles (y reg) i think it has been converted to 2 wheel drive,
Can anyone shed any light on this please be much appreciated
Im going to do a service on it on Tuesday too see if that helps

and you will get used to us ... it just takes a bit of time ...

No worries and ya its fine just trying to figure out how im going to cut peoples hair if it is the bottom end cheers guys
