I've just joined the forum out of interest really, I don't own a Landy as yet but next year sometime I will be looking at getting a Freelander, around the 2000 year mark and thought this would be a good place to do some homework! I do have some questions so will find the relevant section to post them.
I do have some off road experience and love it, and as much as I'd love to get a Disco TDi300 or TD5 it'll be used mostly by the missus who unfortunately doesn't want a car that big, and too be honest that's fair enough as she drives a KA at the moment. Back in 1993 my brother had a Series III 109" which was actually the first car I ever drove (at 14 years old), I had a Frontera A SWB (don't laugh) and it did amazingly well at the Devils Pit some 3 years ago. Only 23mpg forced me to sell it!
