hesitation

Hi im new to both Land rovers and the group,love my Freelander 2 auto 2.2 but when I put it into gear either drive or reverse(mainly reverse) it feels like there is a seloniod clicking in and out and it jerks a bit,,2011 HSE with 43000 on the clock,nothing is showing in the message centre.it drives well and is really smooth,,,im off on a trip in a few weeks and will cover about 500 mile just want to know if its not going to give up on me.it do,nt happen all the time just now and again.

You need to ask in the safety of the FL section.
Usual protocol is you look up answers in the searchbar, then ask in relevant section if you are stumped or have a problem. Searchbar is offline at the mo so just ask the guys n gals in there
