So after the 300 tdi we bought falling apart and bursting into flames... we have been landroverless for a few years having to cope with a series of various noddy cars and things but at last... we have a Landrover again!

Dizzy the Disco.. its far more modern than i am normally used to TD5 all sorts of eletrickery and things going on inside.
Has a few niggles exhaust is abit blowy but it sounds nice passenger side electric windows don't work it keeps locking the passenger door needs a radio and the AC compressor seems to have fallen off somewhere... but its solid not needing any welding no nasty sounds a big pile of history with it and at a good price so hopefully fingers crossed we have a good one.

Welcome back:).

Hope you have better luck this time:).

ty we got scammed pretty hard last time. half the stuff had been removed before we picked it up we had literal paper Mache painted black holding the chassis together this one seems alot more honest and genuine.

Similar colour to my old D1 which I still miss.:(
Hopefully not a major issue but you say its solid not needing any welding so have the advisories on the MOT been sorted
"exhaust is a bit blowy" may be due to missing rear section

Monitor and repair if necessary (advisories):
  • Vehicle structure is corroded but structural rigidity is not significantly reduced (6.1.1 (c) (i))
  • Exhaust noisy rear section missing (8.1.1 (a))
  • Suspension arm pin or bush worn but not resulting in excessive movement nearside/offside front and rear (5.3.4 (a) (i))
  • Steering box has seepage (2.1.1 (e) (i))
  • Nearside Front Shock absorbers has a slightly worn bush (5.3.2 (c))
  • front body mounts corroded

not sure if they have been seen to plotting a new set of polybushes it had a set fitted at a dealer 9 or so years ago. and exhaust is there but seems to be blowing at the joint.
