here she is

today i finally got my series 3 picked, she is a 1973 on a galv chassis and has had the 2.8 ford engine put in(thats the first thing going for a 200tdi) its last MOT ran out in 1993 but isnt that bad. the doors have had it and the bulkhead is a bit ropey but think i can save it. i will update as i go along.

Whats the badge on the front grille?

i dont know what the badge is its been worn off. and its not that hansom, needs a full respray.
well chuffed with the chassis, and that walnut just adds the homely touches and distracts you from the fact your driving a rattly old landy!

Looks like the water jet thingy has rotted out the hinge. Not standard issue.

And free wheeling hubs, and rear tub mounts look solid, not corroded like mine.

Rear window wiper? Looks like the wiper is big enough to wipe the whole back end.
