help

hi there all. im not new to the site. I have got a series 1 freelander and I have got the sane old problems that the mk1 has got but the main problems is the power tack off and on the hills. I have done the cat swop and I have done the egr blanking off. I have put in a tpg and that is showing 15psi at 3000 revs and you can fell the turbo coming in at about 2000 revs. I have looked all the pipe work over and all seems ok. and the other thing is the brakes I need to push hard on then to get it to stop and when you have a caravan on the back it is not nice to think im not goings to stop. I have had a look around to try and find someone that got the same model but no look so I don't no how the freelander is meant to drive. I do no my way around an engine as I have worked on all my cars and vans petrel and diesel. so Im looking for some help as I starting to pull my hair out now.
